Clint Mansell’s 2000 composition “Lux Aeterna” from the soundtrack to “Requiem For A Dream” is indeed kickass.
Although we do feel that film music is the new classical, we only included one piece on this list… John Williams 1980 composition “Imperial March” at #26.
You could argue this either way. But if we included all the film music that deserved it, like the Harry Potter theme, etc., this list would be the Most Popular Film and Classical Music. And that wasn’t our goal
