  8. arlesgs says:

yes, I agree. First of all Mahler, but also Bruckner, Bellini, Leoncavallo (“Vesti la giubba…ridi pagliaccio”), Janacek, perhaps Rimsky-Korsakov (I don’t remember if he’s in the 8 videos…)…
Of course there are a lot of other good music by composers that are already selected by keonepax…but it’s impossible to insert all that compositions, that’s too much to choose…even because each of us has his own preferencese…
    GOOD JOB KEONEPAX

    great work

  15. gilsanson says:

Hehehe, not that i don´t love the music of Berg, Schoenberg, Bartók or Webern, but something tells me that the average Rossini fan is not too keen on these composers… Still, one can find plenty of musical examples (of their early tonal works at least) to prove the average fan wrong.

  16. hez12 says:

I want all the men listed to be part of the new set :D

  17. th3h01y0n3 says:

holy crap same thing! i was doing a project on Mozart and wanted to listen to some of his music but immediately got off topic and started listening to all these 8 parts. Truly amazing videos!!!

  18. dabigkahuna777 says:

I am so grateful that you compiled all of this music together. I have been sitting here for over an hour just listening to all 8 parts and I can’t think of anything else in the world I’d rather do. Bravo to you!

  19. keonepax says:

Thank you for your comment and question. Part 9 and possibly 10 are long overdue. I’ll try to include composers that I missed the first time around.

  20. gilsanson says:

I did enjoy your series a great deal, it reminded me of a record of orchestral favourites for children i used to loved when i was seven or eight. Plus, you have the ggod taste of putting Great instead of Best. I miss a few composers and could do very well without others in your list, but still value your kindness, time and effort.

Still, no Mahler? I can understand Bartók, Berg and Schoenberg not being here, but no Mahler? :-)

  21. swedish2000no says:

Liszt – Les Preludes are one of the missing favorites.

  22. kdrtt says:

Excellent job, but I missed some musicians: Donizetti, Charpentier’s Te Deum, Mahler, Bartok, Barber

  23. SirOtaku says:

heheheh great collection, thank you for the effort to make this videos….there are more than 250 years of great composers and master pieces.

  24. Shankovich says:

Great vids, thanks for all the effort! Please put in Jupiter and Venus from Holst for 9 if you can :)

  25. vicioba says:

It is sad you missed Georges Enesco…
